2 weeks to go!

It’s exactly 2 weeks until I leave for Paris – scary! I finish work in 3 days time and then have about 10 days to get everything in order before the big day... so much to do, so little time! I have something on pretty much every day until I leave, some of those are really nice like going out for dinner with the girls, sharing my last weekend with the boy in Brisbane – boohoo :( and getting my hair and nails done :) so I shouldn’t really complain too much.

I had my farewell on Friday night and two of my dear friends got me the most awesome journal, what was even more awesome was the inscription inside it, have a look at the photo – isn’t it so sweet, I’m pretty sure I cried when I read it... I’m hoping this blog will serve the same purpose.



Speaking of crying, I’m getting more and more emotional as the time goes by. One minute I’m ecstatic about going to live in gay Paree and the next I’m really low about leaving my family & friends and then there’s the OMG feeling I’m moving to a country where I do not know anyone, with very little money and where I can barely speak the language – what the hell am I doing!!!!! By far this is the worst because it’s based on logic and therefore can’t be dismissed as just being emotional! Ah well it will be a challenging adventure!
