Galette de Rois
A galette de rois (King's cake) is to celebrate Ephiphany. The galettes are all over Paris at the moment - they have like a maripan filling with puff-pastry outside. They all come with a paper crown and they each have a ceramic trinket baked inside them (this one had a rolling pin). Whoever gets the trinket in their slice of cake gets to choose who becomes King for the day!
