I have arrived in Korea after a terrible last night in Brisbane. Between my mum snoring and the night works on the highway just outside the window I didn't get a wink of sleep. Which probably made my flight all the more enjoyable as I slept almost the whole way! There were no personal TV's and all the movies were in Korean so not much to keep me entertained! Sleeping pills are definately the best thing since sliced bread. Speaking of food, I've never eaten so much within a 24 hr period. Had 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and a dinner and will get fed twice more before I get to Paris - too much food, but there really is nothing else to do on an airoplane!
I was a bit apprehensive about my stopover in Seoul, especially when I saw where we would be staying...
But it was really nice inside, all the people on my flight all got executive suits on one of the top floors. I've already met a few young travellers, mostly all going to live/work in the UK and who also flew out of Brisbane. It was so nice to hear about what other people are doing and also to hera they ahd the same fears as me :)
Some other photos of Korea...
So foggy - yuck! The netted thing is actually a golf course.
Wedding anyone?? The whole building was dedicated to weddings - dresses, cakes and included a reception area and a garden at the back
